Do I get support once I have purchased the software ?
YES - Support is included until your license expires. Customer support is free and our help desk can be contacted Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and email support is also available:
Updates for PostcodeSoftware are available quarterly. Any updates that the Royal Mail do to the postcode database will be available through the software ensuring that your searches will always have the most up to date information available. When a new version of the software is available you will be alerted via email. This email will contain the new link to download the update from. Please note this location will alter each time and will not be the same as the last update location.
Will the PostcodeSoftware interact with other software that I use?
YES - Postcode software can be integrated with other software applications. For further information on details of how this can be done see our Software Development Kit.
Can I view maps and local information based on the postcode entered?
YES - Through the links tab in the software you have buttons that will provide direct links to Goggle Maps, Multimap, Streetmap and Up My Street. Simply click on the buttons and a window will appear with the map or local information based upon the postcode you have entered into the software (Internet connection required).
Does the software follow the Royal Mail standard address format?
YES - By default the software outputs the address in Royal Mail standard address format. However this can be altered by selecting tools at the top in the software and clicking on options. Here you can alter the format in which your address are outputted.
YES - By hitting the F1 key, or selecting help/contents, the help files will appear and will provide you with information and tips regarding the use of the software.
I have had a problems with my computer, how do I to re-install the software?
If you need to move the software to another machine or reinstall again, you will need to contact us as the software needs to be activated again. To do this call 0845 83 82 666 and someone will be able to talk you through the steps of reinstalling the software.
Can I use PostcodeSoftware over Terminal Services?
YES - The software can be installed over terminal services. We required a minimum order of 10 licenses for this facility. For more information on this feel free to call us on 0845 83 82 666.
Can I find address if I only know part of the postcode and the town?
Yes - If you click on the search tab in the software you can search on town, locality and part of the postcode. This will pull through possible address at street level which you can scroll through to find the correct one.
